Shellfish Advisory from Marin County

The Department of Public Health warns our local residents to avoid eating recreationally harvested oysters, mussels, clams, and scallops from Marin County due to increased risk of dangerous levels of paralytic shellfish poisoning toxins. This warning does not apply to commercially sold oysters, mussels, clams, and scallops from approved sources. More information can be found on the Marin County public health website's online warning.
