Ally LaBarbara, MD, FAAP
Dr. Ally LaBarbara is a Marin native who completed her pediatric training at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford after receiving her M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and her undergraduate degree in Biology from Wellesley College. She has practiced pediatrics for more than 20 years in a variety of settings, including academic medicine, private practice, telehealth, and inpatient care.
Dr. LaBarbara is passionate about all aspects of pediatrics, including child development, nutrition, environmental health, and mental health. She specializes in ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences and has additional training in integrative medicine and mind-body medicine.
As both a pediatrician and the proud mother of a dyslexic learner, Dr. LaBarbara understands how important it is for every child to feel supported, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential. She enjoys helping parents recognize their children's strengths, understand their needs, and create environments where they can thrive.
Dr. LaBarbara lives in Marin with her husband and their two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family—especially her pre-teen daughters, who seem increasingly convinced that she is no longer cool.
